Kidz Rainbow School Agers

- For Children Kindergarten through 5th Grade

Kidz Rainbow Center knows the value and need for childcare for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. With the busyness of family life, Kidz Rainbow Center has made it one of our priorities to provide not only the elementary school age care but also to provide support, education and training to any parent or guardian who needs it.

Children needing care before school will have time for a morning snack and fun before their scheduled transportation departure for school.

Children needing care after school will receive a snack and free play and scheduled activities pertaining to art, music, drama, and foreign language. Children will also have scheduled time to work on homework.

If your child has an IEP (Individual Educational Plan) and needs after school services, Kidz Rainbow Center will incorporate this into the center's daily schedule.

Ripples - Kindergarten through 2nd Grade

Children in Kindergarten through second grade will be in the Ripples class. This class is more structured than the Waves class and will continue to focus on multi-tasking skills, social development, music, and foreign language. Free play will be the biggest part of their day so they can exercise and develop their gross motor skills and most of all, their imagination.

Waves - 3rd Grade through 5th Grade

Children in grades 3-5 will be guided to work more independently and to be self motivated. This is an age where they begin to receive more homework and outside class projects. Kidz Rainbow Center teachers will guide the children to work independently and assist them with their special projects. In addition, Kidz Rainbow Center will implement social development, music, foreign language and plenty of free play time to develop their imagination.
