Hope For Kids

Hope For Kids is a 501(c)(3) Christian charitable organization serving children and families of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. Hope For Kids was founded in 1996 by Lorrie Gawryla and Brenda Goldman as a specialized foster care program. Hope For Kids Foster Care Program is a distinct, powerful, and unique organization of home based care that provides children with a combination of the best elements of traditional foster care and residential treatments. In specialized foster care, the positive aspects of nurturing and healing family environment are combined with active and structured behavioral management. Hope For Kids foster parents provides individualized and intensive re-parenting techniques for children and adolescents who would otherwise be placed in institutional settings.

After more than a decade of services, Hope For Kids has expanded into Adoption Services, an intensive program for children on the Autism Spectrum, and Kidz Rainbow Center, an all inclusive daycare in Centre County.

We knew from the start that with our knowledge and expertise in social services, mental health, mental retardation, reactive attachment disorder, the autism spectrum, pervasive development disorder and medical diagnosis that it was our responsibility to establish an all inclusive daycare and early educational facility in Centre County.

Hope For Kidz and Kidz Rainbow Center staff work closely together as a team to ensure the highest quality of care for your child.
