Kidz Rainbow Facility

Kidz Rainbow Center is situated at the corner of Fox Hill and Bernel Roads between State College and Bellefonte. We have great neighbors to partner with: The Second Mile and Hope For Kids. We are child-centered and child focused which enhances each of our programs and services to children.

Our building is bright, cheery, and clean, which gives a wonderful and truthful first impression. We currently have a license with the Department of Public Welfare to service up to 87 children ages birth through 5th grade.

Playground

Our playground is situated on nearly 3/4 acres and is completely fenced in for the childrens safety. It consists of a grass area with several large trees and large covered pavilion for shade. Local donations and grants continue to provide Kidz Rainbow Center with new playground equipment.

Transportation

The State College and Bellefonte Area School Districts may provide bus transportation to and from an elementary school if Kidz Rainbow Center is on the bus route. Kidz Rainbow Center is situated within the State College School District. If transportation is approved for your child, Kidz Rainbow Center will coordinate your child's schedule accordingly.

For those children ouside of any approved school district, Kidz Rainbow Center will provide transportation. This service is limited and will be determined on the number of children needing transportation at each location.

All transportation arrangements must be coordinated between the parents or legal guardian and the designated schools.

Sensory Room

All children have sensory needs. This room is specially designed to provide space for children to explore and apply sensory integration which helps children to relax and fulfill needs that are unseen and unrecognized. This space will provide daily therapeutic interventions for children who are on the autism spectrum.
